This is a small Deba knife with a thin blade, crafted by a blacksmith skilled in detailed work.
Although it is a small Deba, it has a well-defined back edge and a sharp blade for excellent cutting ability.
It is very useful for filleting small fish such as horse mackerel and flounder.
The cutting edge is made of Shirogami No. 2 steel, which makes it sharp and easy to sharpen.
It is also useful outdoors, such as at fishing spots.

Shirogami Steel gets rust easily.
After use, wipe off any moisture thoroughly. If you will not be using the knife for a long period of time, apply knife oil before storing.
