Crafted by Japanese Artisans

Single Bevel

The primary uses of a single‑bevel blade are branch trimming and brush clearing. Because the edge is very sharp, it can also be used for making feather sticks, as well as cutting vines and grasses. However, compared to double‑bevel blades, the thinner edge makes it unsuitable for splitting firewood and may cause chipping. For splitting firewood, please use a double‑bevel model.

Recommended uses: firewood splitting, branch trimming, vine cutting, and similar tasks.
This is a top‑grade sword‑shaped nata, crafted through free‑forging by one of Tosa’s foremost hatchet blacksmiths. The blade is sharpened for use as a waist machete, but by finishing the tip in the style of a sword‑shaped hunting knife, it can also be used as a hunting knife.
