This KIUMA axe with steel attachment was carefully crafted by an axe blacksmith in Tosa, Kochi Prefecture. Its steel is made from Hitachi Yasugi's high-quality carbon steel, Shirogami No. 2, resulting in a sharp axe.

The head also features steel (hagane), making it convenient for hammering.

Perfect for thinning trees, clearing branches around vacation homes and log cabins, and more.
[Precautions before use]
The handle will dry out and thin if stored.
As the handle things, the wedge will loosen, potentially causing it to come loose and fly off.
To prevent the wedge from flying off, re-drive the wedge before use.
