This natural whetstone from Okudo Suita is popular among craftsmen.
It is a rare whetstone that gives off the scent of smoking gunpowder from its surface and is characterized by its moderate hardness and smooth sharpening.
Its extremely fine grain makes it ideal for hammered blades.

If the sharpening juice is difficult to come out, use a dresser or similar to let it out before use.
The sharpening feel will vary depending on the sharpener.
