Traditionally crafted in Japan, this Santoku knife features a striking Nashiji and Hammered pattern. The 180mm (7.1in) blade is made from Aogami Steel No.2, with a hardness of HRC61 +/- 1. Its double bevel design makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The blade is sandwiched between soft stainless-steel layers, and a cool bolster is attached at an angle, adding to its aesthetic. The entire knife measures 305mm (12in) and weighs 160g (5.6oz).
Blade edge is made of Aogami Steel No.2. So, it cuts well. Easy to grind. But as it gathers rust easily, careful maintenance is required.
