This is a Syobudani Mizuasagi stone from Umegahata, Kyoto.
Although it is hard, it produces a lot of juice and is extremely easy to sharpen.
It is ideal for sharpening small cutting tools (chisels and craft planes) as well as petty knives and small knives.
It is also recommended for those using natural whetstones for the first time.
