This is a Nakayama whetstone with a beautiful red pin layer and is a slightly hard whetstone.
It is wide and long, making it suitable for all kinds of forged blades. It
is characterized by its dark, muddy texture and fine grain, making it a recommended whetstone for sharpening carpentry tools.
