One of the highest-grade hatchets with case manufactured carefully by a Tosa smith who is working sincerely and steadily with the traditional smith techniques succeeded. It is a "REAL" hatchet, with the edge of the blade made of that famous high carbon steel "Aogami Steel "sandwiched between Soft Iron.  It is supported for a long time in scene of forestry and camping in Japan.

Attn. As for the handle of saws, as soon as black ones are sold out, white handle ones will be replaced. 

Aogami Steel easily gets rust and requires good maintenance.
