The unique scissors are exclusively crafted by hand by the artisans of Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture.
These hand pruners feature a blade with a pronounced curve. The blade's tip is slender, tapering to a thicker base, ideal for cutting larger branches on fruit and other garden trees. A spring between the handles allows them to open widely, and its curved design ensures a comfortable grip. Hand pruners come in various sizes, including stainless steel options and designs for left-handed individuals. Moreover, there are two distinct shapes: Type A and Type B. Type A's slimmer blade demands less cutting force, while Type B's robust, thicker blade is more durable and suited for heavy-duty use, making it the preferred choice for regular users.
Regular sharpening extends the product's lifespan. However, avoid sharpening the back edge; only the front edge should be sharpened. Additionally, refrain from using hand pruners to cut metal, as this could chip the blade.
