This product is a Western style DEBA knife that has been designated as a traditional craft of Chiba Prefecture, and is made by blacksmith Yoshito Yamakawa, who strives to improve his skills every day.
All processes, from shaping, heat treatment, sharpening, and handle attachment, are made by hand in the traditional way, and it is a rare product that can only be made 1-2 times a day.

The blade has already been sharpened using a whetstone, so there are sharpening marks on the blade.
As these are entirely handmade by craftsmen, delivery may take approximately 2 months if the product is out of stock.
