This natural whetstone is made from Okudo Suita, a material popular among craftsmen. When wet, the distinctive yellow color of Okudo appears.
Although it looks hard, it is actually a whetstone with a softer sharpening feel.
With just the right amount of hardness, it is ideal for the finishing sharpening of all types of blades.
