Replacement Blade

We offer replacement blades compatible with Western-style hand planes such as Lie-Nielsen, Stanley, Veritas, and Dictum. Each blade is crafted by a skilled plane blacksmith in Miki, Hyogo, using the same composite materials as traditional Japanese planes high carbon steel (Aogami no.1) laminated with soft iron.
This results in a structure distinct from overseas blades, offering superior sharpness and ease of sharpening.
Our blades are trusted by woodworkers and luthiers both in Japan and abroad, including those who craft violins and other fine instruments.
