This is a recommended medium Santoku knife that boasts an amazing long-lasting sharpness.
The cutting edge is made of the finest R2 powder high-speed steel,
a cutting steel with 33 layers of clad steel. It is a handcrafted knife forged by a blacksmith with a hammer, and its pattern is one of a kind.
For home use, it can be used for about six months without sharpening, as long as you do not cut hard materials
. It is smaller than a regular Santoku, making it ideal for outdoor use.

The blade is thin, so cutting or prying hard objects may cause chipping.
