Pruning Shears
The pruning shears come in Type A and Type B varieties. Originally, the difference lies in the manufacturing process. Type A is crafted by soldering a blade and handle made of different materials into one pair of shears, while Type B is forged from a single steel rod using a mold. Nowadays, Type A and Type B are distinguished by the shape of the blade. If a shears has the shape of Type A but is manufactured using the same process as Type B, it is still considered Type A. |
